Meyer Plow A Frame and Sector Problem
This is pretty common. This plow came to my shop (www.SmithBrothersServices.com) in two pieces. The guy asked if I can fix it, I said sure.
The problem is that the King Bolt (read center pivot bolt) gets worn, and then loose, and this is the aftermath. It can easily be avoided by making sure it is not worn, and loose. This is a problem that affects all plows, not just Meyer plows. Just making sure it is tight and not worn can prevent this.

What finally did this plow in was a lot of backdragging driveways, with the King Bolt loose.

We welded it up, good as new.

We also filled in the wear in the hole in the Sector. It too was starting to egg out.
